TRAINING Federschwert

You practice HEMA and you want to develop the practice of the Federschwert long sword, also called Fechfeder.

Two-handed training sword, for European historical martial arts.

Working with a synthetic training Feder (polymers) will allow you to acquire sensations, correct gestures and a true sense of safety.

These nylon blade simulators are therefore dedicated to soft combat and technical training.  They are not dedicated to hard fighting, or working against hard material.
Blades for over 18s, equipped with all the basic protective equipment (reinforced gloves, fencing mask, jacket, gorgerin and others, as required).

In order to provide you with synthetic swords, we have chosen to work with the Silkfencing craft workshop.

Experienced fighters are at work in this HEMA blade workshop.

The construction of this "unbreakable" polymer Feder (one-year guarantee) is "formwork stripping bully." The handle and blade are machined and milled by hand.

Each model is different and has small "imperfections". Traces of demolding and sanding are present and visible. Indeed, these swords are not made in the factory, on the line, in China.

Having said that, please understand that we will not be able to take back the sword because of its imperfections.

All metal parts are galvanized, so that they are waterproof corrosion.

Handmade handle, covered with rubber: raw but effective appearance and sustainable.

This is a special type of hard polymer training weapon. A copy of the 16th and 17th century federschwert style training sword. Popular in many fencing guilds such as Marxbruder or Freifechter. It has been used for regular practice and as well as special tournaments for the bourgeoisie called fechtschule.

It is a fully functional training weapon, ideal for solo practice and combat. Its ergonomic construction offers excellent manoeuvrability.
