Description of the article « POLISH TRAINING SABRE »
POLISH TRAINING SABRE
This is the second version of the synthetic Polish sabre.
New guard, new handle shape, new grip.
AND NEW COLOUR: RED!
So it's time to get down to business and learn how to handle the sword.
In order to provide you with synthetic swords, we have chosen to work with the Silkfencing workshop.
Experienced fighters are at work in this workshop of HEMA blades.
This Polish sword is made of "unbreakable" polymer (guaranteed for one year) and is "unfinished". The handle and the blade are machined and milled by hand; small marks or scratches indicating this manual work may appear. The blade is of oriental inspiration, equipped with its counter edge.
Each model is different and the nylon blade or steel parts have small scratches that do not affect the strength. Indeed, these nylon training swords for HEMA are not made in a factory in China.
Polish swords breathe authenticity and clearly announce their purpose: training! The scratches will be quickly forgotten and you will make many more during your drills and fights!
The workshop has designed a special line of synthetic swords, being an imitation of the Polish style swords, popular between the 17th and 18th century in Poland.
The weapon is fully functional, ready for soft combat and technical training.
They are not dedicated to hard combat, or to work against hard material.
Blades for people over 18 years old, equipped with all the basic protective equipment (reinforced gloves, fencing mask, HEMA jacket, gorgerin and others, at your convenience).
The special design of the sword allows for a safe thrust, as well as a well placed point of percussion and mass, making the weapon safe, while remaining a good training tool for practice. It does not break and can operate in all weather conditions.
The handle is covered with a new, aesthetic, high-performance rubber. The handle provides an excellent grip.
All metal parts are galvanised, so that they are corrosion-proof.
The sword is available with a slightly open hussar guard. It allows the use of Red Dragon gloves or Tolpar carbon gloves.
The so-called "late" hilt is a later type of slightly curved Polish hilt, linking both Western and Polish fencing styles. It allows for a solid and strong grip.
The Polish sabre, a nylon simulator, provides an excellent feeling!
A nylon HEMA simulator that will fit perfectly into the learning material of an HEMA school, a show fencing club but also a combate eskrima club or even a Kali eskrima club.
