THE "CUIRASSIERS" GLOVES, REINFORCED FOR COMMITTED FENCING !

As a practitioner of European historical martial arts (HEMA), Filipino martial arts (Kali arnis eskrima) or even cane and other fighting practices with sticks (Bartitsu, Joinville stick, Bataireacht with shillelagh, Jogo do pau...), you are exposed to receive blows on your hands.

We started a long research for a few years now in order to find protective gloves, while remaining light and respecting the grip.

The CUIRASSIERS model meets our specifications.

Perfectly articulated plates of more than 1 cm of dense foam cover the back of the hand and fingers. The fingertips are protected by rubber reinforcements. The concern of protection is also carried by a particular reinforcement on the side of the index and the junction index / thumb, always propitious to receive blows.
These foam plates are covered with a second layer of plastic plates increasing the protection against impacts. The wrist is covered by an overband of foam with plastic plates.

The thumb and its extension are covered by a double protection particularly welcome.

The "CUIRASSIERS" combat gloves go up high and protect the base of the forearm. The glove is hinged so as not to restrict wrist movement with a jacket, for example.

The fabric of the palm and the lining is very pleasant to the touch but above all, allows to keep good sensations. Note that the palm fabric can be black or grey.

What are these gloves designed for : for HEMA sparring (except steel fighting), kali eskrima rattan fighting, cane fighting, bataireacht, Bartitsu... with foam, plastic, rattan, wood, nylon / synthetic simulators...
