POLYPROPYLENE TRAINING STICK

A new stick for Kali Eskrima or self-defence, created by Ron Balicki for Cold Steel. This is the first model to emerge from their collaboration. So all the ingredients are there for a high-quality product! This stick is, in a sense, the top-of-the-range ‘plastic’ stick for Eskrima training, sparring and self-defence.

This training stick allows you to practise classic Kali techniques or the basics of joint control with a stick: drills, sinawali, carenza, blocks, disarms or joint locks… Rounded ends for safety. The stick retains a certain degree of flexibility. It is not designed for full-contact training. However, this stick can be a good tool for beginners practising stick fighting (with protective gear, of course), before moving on to rattan.

It is also suitable for practising attacks with sticks and similar objects as part of self-defence or police training courses. Its ‘relative’ flexibility allows for realistic yet safe training. The Kali Balicki stick is highly resistant (polypropylene) to wear and repeated impacts.
