Emerson’s patented wave-shaped feature – a small wave-shaped tab on the top of the blade designed to catch on the seam of your pocket – opens the knife as you pull it out of your pocket.

This instant opening mechanism is a favourite amongst users of military, emergency and law enforcement knives. However, it takes a bit of practice to master it properly. Once you’ve got the hang of it, it’s great fun!
