A foam rubber covers a dense core. The foam is soft enough to absorb the blows. The grip is also very pleasant. The handle has a very practical grip on its surface.
The foam does not crumble on fencing masks. The surface is smooth and the practitioner does not hurt himself with hard or protruding parts.
The blade is widely rounded to avoid any dangerous trauma. It has a flexibility which reduces the risks on the estocs.
