The Pocket Stick is made of Molavian hardwood. Pocket sticks are also called Dulo Dulo Dulo Dulo or Palmsticks in the Philippines.
Molave wood is a Philippine hardwood, with solid solidity and a light and pleasant colour and texture. It is a common hardwood used in the Philippines for Filipino martial arts items.
The Pocket Stick is used to train techniques - Arnis, Escrima, Kali- that work over very short distances and aim to activate pressure points.
