RED DRAGON BUCKLER SHIELD

STEEL SHIELD /  HEMA BUCKLER

This shield - BUCKLER - has been developed with some of the best HEMA schools in Europe in terms of durability and price. It is constructed from 14-gauge steel, which makes it durable enough to withstand the abuse that daily practice in the hall puts it through.  It is ideal for the I.33 and Bolognese systems (Achille Marozzo's Opera Nova).

The boss is well riveted to the front of the shield and the handle is raised at the back to allow a padded glove, but not so much that it interferes with manoeuvrability.
